This boat ramp is directly across the river from Saluda Shoals Park. There is a rope swing here, but it is definitely for adults. You have to climb a tree to get to it and the drop is a long one. Also, the water comes from the bottom of Lake Murray and is very cold year-round, about 52 degrees. The temperature difference is the reason you will often see fog or mist on the river.
Public restrooms are not available. There is no fee.
To get there, take I-20 to exit 61 and go northwest on Sunset Blvd. Turn right onto Corley Mill Rd. Go northwest on this road 3.3 miles, then turn right onto Hope Ferry Rd. Follow this road to the landing.
Alternatively, you can take North Lake Rd out of Lexington and turn right on Corley Mill Rd, then left on Hope Ferry Rd.
