Hyatt Park

Hyatt Park is across the street from the Eau Claire Town hall. It features an interesting sculpture on the Monticello Rd. side of the park, as seen below. Hyatt Park has grassy areas, picnic tables, a small stream, baseball diamonds, and a community center with a gymnasium. The community center offers access to computers with Internet access. The Leroy Moss community center is open:
Monday thru Thursday: 2:00pm-9:00pm
Friday: 2:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am-6:00pm
Sunday: 2:00pm-6:00pm

There is also a bright, colorful mural painted on one of the retaining walls for the ball fields.

Do not come to this park for the playground area. It is old, rusty, and poorly maintained. They day we were there the swings were all knotted together.

To get there, take Main St. to Fern Ave. at the base of Hyatt Park. Take a left onto Fern Ave. The park is on the right.
