Lake WatereeLake Wateree is a reservoir owned and operated by Duke Energy. It was built in 1920 on the Wateree River. Wateree is about 13,700 acres in size and has 242 miles of shoreline. It is located east of Columbia near the town of Camden. It lies within 3 different counties: Fairfield, Kershaw, and Lancaster.
